Krishna Janmashtami
Shri Krishna Krishna is the avatar of the god Vishnu. He was born in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh to Queen Devki and her husband King Vasudeva. He is a popular god among the Indian people due to his attractive divine activities. He had done many Leelas in his life. He had killed many demons. janmashtami Celebration Shri Krishna's birth is celebrated as an annual Hindu festival. It is celebrated on the Ashtami (eighth day) of Krishna paksha (dark fortnight) in Shraavana month or Bhandra (According to the Hindu calendar, there is a leap month once every three years). Janmashtami is celebrated by fasting.
